Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some basic questions/answers

Question 1: When is the AUCTION?

Our auctions start at 9am CST.

Question 2: How do I get a CATALOG?

If you are a "current" THCKK Club Member when the catalogs are mailed out, you will get one automatically. If you membership is "past due" you will need to pay membership dues ($25) and then an auction catalog will be mailed out to you. You can also contact us and we will mail one out.

Question 3: How can I get EMAIL list?

If you would like to receive emails about upcoming auctions, please subscribe to our email list and fill out your contact information. We DO NOT sell or provide our email list to anyone.

Question 4: How can I get on the MAILING list?

If you would like to periodically receive mailings/flyers from us about upcoming auctions, please fill out our contact form with all your contact details.

Question 5: When can I expect to get my items shipped?

After the conclusion of any auction, it takes several days to sort, organize, process all the internet/absentee bidders purchased items. Then we must properly pack and prepare for shipping to ensure all your new items arrive safely. This process can take a few weeks. We always inform bidders to allow 3wks (max).

Question 6: Can I pickup my items I bought online?

Absolutely, however we need to know PRIOR to the auction that you plan to pickup the items. This ensures they are not co-mingled with all the other items and can be easily accessible when you arrive.

Question 6: Is there a Buyers Premium?

We have abstained from having a Buyers Premium at our auctions for 45yrs, however with the rising cost of absolutely everything in the world these days, we have no option but to start applying one. It will only be 10%.

Question 6: How can I pay for my items (Cash, Check, Credit Card, PayPal, Venmo)?

Cash, Check and Credit Card are always accepted. Checks and Credit Card must be accompanied with proper State issues photo identification. Checks are accepted, however we do require you write that check on the bank where you keep your money...lol. If you choose to write a check on a bank where you do not keep your money, please save us some time and write the check to the Ray County Sherriff who will be glad to help you process it. We make a little humor of this, but it's you get the picture. We can accept PayPal and Venmo upon request, just let us know in advance.

Question 7: On PROXIBID, I had the "high" bid, why did I not get the item?

When the bidding starts, the Proxibid application starts executing your prebids. However, if the current high bid on the floor happens to be the same high bid as your "max bid", the Proxibid application will not keep bidding. So therefore, your "max bid" could be the same as the "hammer price" and still not get the item. It really is on where the bidding starts and if it the bidding reaches your "max bid" when the auctioneer says sold.
